Shankuntla Restaurant

You can find Shankuntla Restaurant right there in the Shakuntla Cinema Complex on B C Road in Jammu. It’s a spot where a lot of people end up stopping by either before or after they go to watch a movie. We have been in this location for quite some time, and the Tawi area is always bustling with people moving across the bridge. The restaurant isn't anything too flashy, just a place with tables and chairs where you can sit down and have a meal. We open up every day and the first thing we do is get the kitchen going and clean the floors. Being inside the cinema complex means we see a lot of different faces, from college kids to families out for the evening. The menu is just the stuff we know how to make well, and we don't try to do anything too complicated. Sometimes when a big movie releases, the whole place gets packed and we are all running around trying to keep up with the orders. Other times, in the middle of the afternoon, it’s quiet enough to actually hear the traffic on B C Road outside. We just stay focused on serving the food and keeping the place tidy. It’s a regular routine for us and we’ve become a part of the daily life in this part of Tawi. There isn't much more to it than just showing up and making sure the food is ready for whoever walks through the door.
