Punjabi Haveli

We set up Punjabi Haveli right on the Jammu & Kashmir Highway. It is quite close to SMVDU, so we get a lot of students coming by between their classes. Living and working out here near the highway means things are always moving. You see trucks and cars going past all day long. We aren't a big chain or anything. It is just a local place where we make food for whoever stops. Sometimes the weather gets a bit rough in Jammu, but we stay open. The building is simple and we try to keep it clean for the travelers. My family has been around this area for a long time. We decided to open this spot because there weren't many places to sit down for a meal on this stretch. It is not some fancy dining hall with decorations. We have tables, chairs, and a kitchen that stays busy. We do the cooking ourselves mostly. If you are driving towards the university or heading further up the highway, you will see our sign. It is just a practical place to eat. We don't have a big marketing team or a website. We just rely on people seeing us from the road. Some days are slow and some are really crowded when there is a local event. We just take it as it comes. That is how we run things here in Jammu.
