Saugaat

Saugaat is tucked away in Gandhinagar, which is one of the older parts of Jammu. We’ve been at this address for a long time. It’s a quiet enough area but still gets plenty of foot traffic from people living nearby. We aren't a big corporation, just a small local setup. People come in to see what we have, and we try to keep the shelves or tables organized, though it gets a bit messy when we’re busy. The weather in Jammu can get pretty hot or really cold, so we try to make the shop a comfortable place to step into. We don't use any fancy sales talk. If someone likes something, they buy it. We know a lot of our customers by their first names because they’ve been coming here for years. The building has its quirks, like a door that sticks sometimes or a floor that creaks, but it’s home to us. Handling everything ourselves is the way we work, from opening the shutters in the morning to locking up at night. Gandhinagar is a good community to be a part of. We don't have a website or do much on social media. We just rely on people walking by or hearing about us from their neighbors. It’s a simple way to do business, and it works for us. We just keep showing up and doing the work every day, and that seems to be enough for the folks around here.
