Firangii Paanii

We are located in the Kachi Chawni area of Jammu, right across from the Ranbir Library. That library is a pretty famous spot, so it’s how most people find their way to us. Being in Jammu means the weather changes a lot, from being quite hot to having a real chill in the air, and we’ve seen it all from our front window. The shop itself is just a regular place where we do our daily business. We don’t have a corporate office or a team of designers. It’s just a space we’ve set up to be functional. Most of the day is spent handling the usual stuff like checking the inventory and talking to the people who walk in. Since the library is right there, we get a lot of students and quiet folks who are just looking for a break. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. It’s an honest, local business that we run as best as we can. Kachi Chawni is a lively neighborhood, and we’ve gotten to know the other shopkeepers on our block. We often help each other out if someone needs a hand. The interior is simple, with just enough room for the essentials. We like the pace of things here. It gets busy in the late afternoon, but the mornings are peaceful. We just focus on keeping the place running smoothly and being there for our regulars. It’s a lot of hours, but we don’t mind the work.
