Shangrilla Public High School

Shangrilla Public High School is located in the Sarwal area of Jammu. We’ve been here for years, and the building has become a familiar landmark for those living in this part of town. Since we are a high school, things are a bit more serious here than at the local primary schools. The students are older, and they have more exams and books to worry about. The school building is a solid structure with many classrooms and a main hall where we hold our morning assemblies. Sarwal is a busy place, and the sounds of the city are always in the background, but once the students are in their seats, it gets quiet enough for work. We don't use flashy teaching gadgets; it's mostly textbooks, notebooks, and teachers who know their subjects well. Our staff consists of people from all over Jammu who take the bus or walk in every day. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we rely on the school's reputation in the neighborhood. People know us because their older kids went here or their neighbors talk about it. It’s an honest, no-nonsense environment. Our main work is getting the students through their grades and making sure they understand the material. Sometimes the hallways get a bit crowded between periods, but that’s just how it is in a busy school. We just keep things moving and focus on the daily lessons without any extra fuss for the people involved.
