M V International School

We are located right at 17Miles on the National Highway, specifically NH 1 in Jakh. Being out here near the highway means there is always a lot of movement. You see trucks and cars rushing past toward Jammu or heading out of the state. It can be a bit noisy outside, but inside the school, we try to keep things focused. The air gets quite cold here in the winter, and we all wrap up in heavy sweaters while we work. The school building is pretty large, and it takes a bit of walking to get from the office to the back classrooms. We have a lot of students who come from the surrounding villages, and they bring a lot of energy with them. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out or open the windows for some light. Our staff members live nearby, so there’s a lot of talk about local news and what’s happening in the market. The playground is a big open space where the wind really blows. We spend our days checking notebooks, talking to parents who stop by, and making sure the kids aren’t running too fast in the corridors. It’s a straightforward kind of place without any big frills. We just make sure the doors are open on time and the day goes as planned.
