Gls Public School

Gls Public School is located on Gol Gujral Road here in Jammu. It’s a spot that most people in the Gol Gujral area know well. The school sits right along the road, so it’s easy to get to, though the traffic can be a bit of a headache during the morning drop-off times. The building is a standard size, nothing too over-the-top. We have a small courtyard where the students gather for their morning assembly. You can hear them reciting things from the street. We don't use any complicated systems or corporate language to run the place. It’s mostly just us following the local education guidelines. The teachers have their own ways of doing things, and many of them have been with us for years. We have a lot of siblings who come through the school, so we know the families quite well. The walls inside have been painted a few times, but you can still see where the kids have touched them. It feels like a real school, not a showroom. During the winter, the classrooms can get a bit drafty, so we tell the kids to bring extra sweaters. We just do our best to keep the environment steady for the children. There are no big promises or flashy slogans. We just open the doors every morning and get to work teaching the basics.
