It’s not a very big place, so most people in Orai know where we are. We provide a space for students to come and further their education. The building itself is quite plain. We don't have any of those modern glass walls or fancy lounges you see in big cities. It's just a bunch of rooms with desks and boards. We spend our time managing the classes and making sure the records are kept straight. It’s a lot of manual filing and talking to students about their courses. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with the local winds, and we have to spend time cleaning up. We aren't trying to sell anyone on a dream. We just offer a place to study and learn. The staff here are mostly locals who have been around for years. We know the families and the history of the town. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done. There’s no big corporate office telling us what to do. We just run the college the way we have always done it. It’s a simple, practical way to operate. We’re just glad to be a part of the daily life here in Jalaun. Usually, we end the day by making sure the gates are locked and the lights are off.
