S G R Inter College

S G R Inter College is located in Purdilpur, which is part of the Hathras area. We have been working out of this building for a long time, helping the local students get through their intermediate years. It’s a busy place during the day. You can hear the voices from the classrooms even from the street outside. Hathras can be a bit dusty, so we spend a lot of time cleaning up the desks and the floors. We have a lot of students coming from the surrounding villages. Most of them walk or take a cycle to get here. The teachers here have been with us for years. They know the families around here pretty well. We aren't trying to be the biggest school around. We just want to make sure the students pass their exams and have something to do with their future. The building has some old walls, and sometimes the electricity goes out, but we manage. We have a courtyard where the students gather in the mornings. It's usually quite loud then. We follow the standard curriculum and try to stay on schedule. Life moves at its own pace here in Purdil Hathras. We just keep doing what we do every year. It’s a simple setup, really. No big decorations or anything like that. Just classrooms, books, and teachers trying to get through the day's lessons before the sun goes down. It's just home for us.
