You can find S J S B M Hr S School in Vill Tilohthi, which is a part of the Sasni area in Hathras. It has been standing here for a good while now. The village is quite small and everyone pretty much knows where we are located. The school building is not anything flashy to look at from the outside. It has a few floors and a concrete staircase that has seen better days. We get a lot of kids coming in from Tilohthi and the other small clusters of houses nearby. In the winter time, it gets quite chilly in the classrooms because they do not have any heating. We all just wear extra sweaters to stay warm. The yard out front is where the kids spend their time during the break. There is one big tree that gives some decent shade when the sun is out. Our staff comes in from Sasni mostly. We have a small room where we keep the books and another place for all the paper registers. It is a quiet life here. Sometimes the village dogs hang around the front gate looking for scraps. We keep the windows open for light because the electricity is not always something we can count on. It is a bit dusty because of the unpaved roads around Hathras, but we manage. The families around here know us well, and we just keep things moving along day by day. It is a straightforward school for the local community.
