We’re situated on Jalaun Road, where we run Oxford Academy. It’s not a massive institution with hundreds of staff. Instead, it’s a more personal setup where we focus on teaching the students who come through our doors. The road outside can get pretty dusty and loud, but we’ve made our space as comfortable as possible for learning. We have simple classrooms, plenty of books, and a lot of chalk dust. Our days are shaped by the school bell and the arrival of students in the morning. We don’t go in for big speeches or polished brochures. Most people find out about us from their neighbors or friends. It’s a very local thing. We spend a lot of time grading papers, prepping for the next day, and talking to parents about how their kids are doing. It’s the kind of work that feels important because you’re actually helping people. We’ve been on Jalaun Road for a while, and we’ve seen the area change, but our routine stays mostly the same. We open the doors, start the lessons, and try to make sure everyone learns something useful. It’s a plain, honest approach to education. No bells and whistles, just a group of people trying to do a good job for the community here. We enjoy the work and the people we meet along the way. It’s a simple life on Jalaun Road, but it keeps us busy and happy enough to keep coming back every day to do it all over again.
