Sh H Prasad Mansingh Hs School

Our school sits in Nagla Ummed, which is under the Post Ruheri area in Hathras. To be more specific, we are in the Sasni block. Sh H Prasad Mansingh Hs School is a local spot for the kids around here. It's a quiet area mostly, surrounded by fields and small houses. The school building is pretty old now, and you can see the wear on the bricks, but it stays cool inside during the hot months. We have students coming in from all the nearby patches of Nagla Ummed. They walk along the dirt paths every morning with their bags. We don't have a big cafeteria or anything like that. Most kids bring their own lunch in tiffin boxes and sit together under the shade of the trees when it's time to eat. Life in Hathras moves at its own pace, and we try to keep up. There is always some paperwork to do or a classroom that needs a bit of tidying. The teachers here are practical people. They don't use big words when they talk to parents. They just explain what the kids need to learn. We have a small office where we keep all the records in big ledgers. It's a bit dusty, but we know where everything is. People in the village trust us because we've been here for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest school, just a reliable one for the families nearby. It is just honest work that needs doing every single day.
