M. Nahar Export House

Our place is located in the village of Gazipur, near the Chamiara post office. It’s a bit out of the way compared to the big city offices, but we like it here. We’ve got a fairly large building that’s mostly used for storing and preparing things for export. Since we are in a village, the pace is a bit different. We often hear the sounds of the neighborhood and the occasional tractor going by. Most of the staff are local people from Gazipur or the nearby villages. We’ve worked together for a long time, so we have a good rhythm going. The office is just a small room with a couple of old desks and a computer that’s a bit slow. We spend most of our time out in the main area where the actual work happens. It’s dusty sometimes, but that’s expected in this kind of place. We have a big yard where the trucks park, and there’s an old tree that gives some good shade during our breaks. We usually sit there and talk for a bit before getting back to the packing. We don't have any fancy brochures or anything. We just focus on the orders we have and making sure they are packed correctly. It’s quiet and steady work. We don't feel the need to be anywhere else. It’s just us doing what we know how to do in our own corner of the world.
