Modern Agencies is located at 488-R in Model Town, Jalandhar City. We’ve been a part of the local trade scene here for a long time. We mostly act as an agency for different types of goods. It’s a busy house turned into an office and storage space. Model Town is a good place to be, it’s central and everyone knows it. We have trucks coming in and out quite often. Our team is small, just a handful of us who know how things work. We don't have a website that’s updated every day or anything like that. We prefer talking to people face to face or on the phone. The office is usually a bit cluttered with ledgers and sample boxes. We try to keep a track of everything, but sometimes it gets hectic. We’ve built good relationships with the shopkeepers in the city. They know they can drop by 488-R if they need to discuss something. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to make sure the goods get to where they need to go on time. It’s a lot of logistics and checking invoices. We enjoy the work, even when it’s raining and the courtyard gets muddy. It’s just part of the daily routine here in Jalandhar. Some days are longer than others, especially during the festival season when everyone wants their orders at once. But we manage just fine and keep things moving.
