Being over at E-42 in the Ninl Town Ship in Duburi means we are right in the heart of the industrial area. Life here is mostly about the work happening around us, and our office is just a small part of that bigger picture. The township is a bit quieter than the main roads, which we appreciate when we’re trying to get through the daily paperwork. Our building is a standard house that we’ve turned into a workspace, so it has a bit of a homey feel despite all the files and computers. We deal with a lot of local stuff, and most of our neighbors are also working in the same industry. The summers in Duburi can be really tough, so we keep the curtains drawn to stay cool. There isn't much in the way of decoration here, just the things we need to get our jobs done. We usually have a pot of tea going in the small kitchen area. Sometimes the power flickers when the heavy machinery is running nearby, but we just wait for it to come back on and keep going. It’s a steady kind of life, and we’ve gotten to know the rhythms of the township pretty well over the years. We don't have any corporate polish here, just a group of people doing their best to keep things moving. The red soil around here gets on everything, so we’re always dusting off our desks.
