We are based out in Durlaga, which is near Jharsuguda in Orissa. If you’ve ever been to this part of the country, you know it’s very industrial but also has a lot of open space. Our office is right there in the village area, At/Po Durlaga. It’s not like the big city offices at all. It’s a bit more rugged and practical. We deal with the Jajpur operations from this side. The roads around here can be a bit rough, especially after it rains, and everything gets covered in a bit of dust because of all the activity. We are just a local team doing our bit to keep the stainless steel moving. Most of us live nearby, so we know the local gossip and the best places to get a quick snack. The office is pretty basic, just the essentials like desks, some old computers, and a place to sit. It’s often quiet until a truck comes by or someone from the site drops in with paperwork. We don’t go in for anything fancy here. We just show up, do the filing, talk to the drivers, and make sure things are heading where they need to go. It’s a simple life and the work is straightforward. We’ve been here long enough that the place feels like home, even with the noise and the heat. It stays pretty busy most of the year and we like it that way.
