Yadav Tent House

Down in Gangori Bazar, things are always moving fast, and that’s where we run Yadav Tent House. Being near the Jaipur G P O area means we get a lot of variety in the work we do. One day we might be setting up something small in a narrow alley, and the next we are out in an open space. The storage area is always a bit of a mess because we are constantly coming and going. We have piles of carpets and stacks of those red plastic chairs everywhere. The staff is just a few local guys who don't mind the heavy lifting. We don't have a website or any of that stuff; people just walk in or call us because they saw our name on a truck. The traffic in Gangori Bazar is a nightmare, so we have to plan our trips very carefully or we get stuck for hours. I usually spend my time making sure the fabric is washed and dried properly after it rains. It’s a lot of manual labor, and my back usually hurts by the end of the week. But there is a certain pride in seeing a big tent standing tall where there was nothing a few hours before. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing in this busy part of Jaipur. It is just the way we have always done things here.
