Novelty Tent House

Novelty Tent House is over at Lalkothi on Gandhi Nagar Marg, specifically at SB 155. If there is a wedding or a big function in the neighborhood, we are usually busy. Our warehouse is full of iron poles, big colorful tents, and hundreds of chairs stacked up. It is a very physical job. We spend most of our time loading and unloading trucks. The stuff is heavy and gets dirty, so we are always cleaning the fabrics and checking if the poles are still straight. SB 155 is where we keep all the equipment. During the peak season, we hardly get any sleep because everything has to be set up by early morning. Gandhi Nagar Marg is a busy place, so we have to be careful with our trucks blocking the road. It’s a local business through and through. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. Most people just walk in or call us because they saw our name on a tent somewhere. My father started this, and now we just keep it going. It’s a lot of manual labor, and sometimes things break or get lost at the event sites. We just deal with it and move on to the next booking. It is honest work and keeps the family fed. Lalkothi is a good central spot for us to reach different parts of the city.
