We are located at B-89 in Anandpuri, right off M.D. Road. It is a small place where we do our daily work. Despite the name, we aren't some giant fashion magazine empire; we are just a local business handling clothing and textiles. The shop is usually full of different fabrics and bits of thread. We have a few sewing machines and a cutting table that takes up most of the room. M.D. Road is always busy, so we hear the honking and the people walking by all day long. We start our work by looking at the orders and seeing what needs to be stitched or altered. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it keeps us busy. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we have some bright lamps over the work areas so we can see what we are doing with the needles. We have been in Anandpuri for a while now, and the neighbors usually drop by for a chat while we work. It’s not a polished or fancy boutique. It’s more of a workshop where things actually get made. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. It is just us and our tools. Sometimes we stay late to finish a particular piece, but mostly we just stick to our regular hours. It’s a simple life of measuring, cutting, and sewing, and we’re quite used to the rhythm of it by now.
