Our place is at number 39 in Gopal Nagar, over in the Gopalpura area. It’s more of a home-base than a formal office. We have a lot of stuff stored here for the events we handle. You’ll see stacks of crates and bundles of wiring tucked into the corners. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we try not to be too loud when we are loading the vans early in the morning. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze in the lane sometimes, especially if the neighbors have parked their scooters badly. We don't have any staff in uniforms or a big polished desk. Usually, we are just sitting around the kitchen table or on some plastic chairs in the front room talking about the next project. There’s a lot of dust that comes in from the road, so we are always wiping things down. Gopalpura is a decent place to be based out of. It’s central enough for us to get to most parts of the city without too much trouble. We’ve lived and worked around here for a long time, so we know most of the people on the street. It’s not a high-end corporate setup. We just have what we need to get the jobs done. When things get busy, the whole place feels like a warehouse, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s just a regular, working-class spot where things actually get done. I guess that’s all there is.
