Verticals

Verticals is based right on Tonk Road in Jaipur. We are on the ground floor of Shriji Apartment, suite 101. It’s a good spot because Tonk Road is such a major part of the city, so people can find us without too much trouble. We aren't a massive corporation with several branches. This is it—this one office is where we do everything. We usually have the door open to catch a bit of a breeze, though the dust from the road can be a nuisance sometimes. The team here is small. We spend our days working on designs and talking to people about their building projects. It’s not all glamorous; a lot of it is just measuring things twice and making sure the math adds up. We don't use a lot of big words or try to sound more important than we are. We just like making things that look decent and stay standing. If you come by, you’ll probably see some blueprints spread out on the table and someone drinking a glass of water. We don't have a fancy coffee machine or a waiting room. You just grab a chair and we talk about whatever project you have in mind. It’s a very direct way of working. We’ve been in Jaipur long enough to know how things work here, and we just try to be useful to our neighbors. It is a bit noisy with the traffic, but we manage.
