V K Catters Durgapura Crossing is at Shop No-4 on Dalda Factory Rd. We are right by the Durgapura Crossing, near Gopi Sweets. Our shop is a small, busy place in a lively part of Jaipur. It’s not a big corporate office. It’s a place where we keep our tools, our big metal cooking pots, and our serving trays. Being near the crossing means there is always a lot of noise and dust from the road. We’ve gotten used to it. We don't have any polished marketing materials. We just talk to our neighbors and the people who walk past our shop. Dalda Factory Rd is a well-known street around here. We’ve been operating out of Shop No-4 for quite some time. The work is physically demanding. We spend a lot of time loading gear onto trucks and traveling to different venues. When we aren’t out on a job, we are here cleaning and prepping for the next one. It’s a simple life. We don’t use any fancy words to describe what we do. We are just caterers. We make food for weddings and parties. It involves a lot of early mornings and staying up late to finish the cleaning. We drink some tea, chat with the folks at Gopi Sweets, and just get on with our day. It’s a local business run by local people who work hard. We just keep at it every single day.
