You can find us at C-18 in the Naveen Galla Mandi. We are set up inside the Vijay Trading Co premises. The mandi is always a crowded and noisy place, especially in the mornings when all the trading starts. V. Chandratan Foods Pvt. Ltd. is just one of the many businesses trying to get through the day in this busy market. It is a lot of back and forth with suppliers and buyers. There is always someone shouting or a horn honking outside our door. Our space is filled with stacks of crates and bags, leaving just enough room to walk through. We handle food products, so we have to be careful about how things are stored, even if the building itself is a bit cramped. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but honestly, we are too busy to worry about that right now. We drink a lot of tea while we talk to the drivers and check the invoices. It is a fast-paced environment and you have to keep your wits about you so you don't lose track of the inventory. We have a small office tucked in the back where we keep the ledgers. It is not a glamorous job, but it is steady. We have been in the mandi for quite some time now and we have seen many neighbors come and go. We just keep doing our bit.
