You can find us up on the 3rd floor of Elements Mall on Ajmer Road. We are part of the food court there, which is usually a busy place on the weekends. Jaipur gets quite hot, so a lot of people come to the mall just to walk around in the air conditioning and then they end up at the food court. We are near the DCM area and Chitrakoot, so we see a lot of families. Our name, Uttar Dakshin, pretty much tells you what we do. We try to have a bit of everything from different parts of the country. Being in a mall is different from a standalone shop. It’s fast-paced. You have to get the trays out quickly because people are usually in a rush to catch a movie or get back to their shopping. We don't have our own private seating, it’s all shared with the rest of the court. We’ve been here since the mall became a popular spot in this part of Jaipur. It is not a fancy dining experience, just a counter where you order and wait for your number. The staff stays busy cleaning up and getting orders ready. We don't do anything too complicated. It is just a convenient spot for a meal while you are out at the mall. We try to keep the food moving so nobody has to wait too long after they have been shopping all day.
