We are The Times Of India Group, and you can find us in Malviya Nagar, Jaipur. It’s a lively part of the city to be in. Our office is a place where we handle a lot of the local news and media operations. It’s usually pretty loud with phones ringing and people shouting across the room about some story or another. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just desks, computers, and stacks of yesterday’s papers. Jaipur gets incredibly hot, especially in the afternoons, so our office is usually a haven of fans and coolers. We aren't here to be corporate or polished. We are just a group of people who care about getting the news right. Most of us have lived in Jaipur for years, so we know the streets of Malviya Nagar like the back of our hands. We eat our lunch together most days and just chat about what’s happening in the world. There isn't a lot of hierarchy here; everyone just pitches in when a big story breaks. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just writing and reporting. Some days are longer than others, especially when there is a lot going on in the city. We’ve been a part of this community for a while now. It’s just a regular workplace where people work hard to keep the public informed. We mostly focus on the daily stuff that needs to get done.
