The Desire Infomedia

Our office is in Lalkothi, at E-714. It’s a familiar part of the city and we’ve been here long enough that the postman knows us by name. The Desire Infomedia is really just a group of us working on various media projects. We have a few rooms filled with computers and some old filing cabinets that probably should have been replaced years ago. The walls are a bit plain, maybe a few calendars pinned up here and there. It’s a working office, not a showroom. We spend a lot of time on the phones and typing away. Lalkothi is a busy area, so there is always some noise from the street coming through the windows. We don't have any corporate branding on the walls or anything like that. We just have our workstations and a small area where we eat our lunch. Sometimes the internet goes down and we all just sit around talking until it comes back. It’s not a high-pressure environment most of the time, but we do have our moments when a deadline is close. We usually just get our work through word of mouth. People in the area know what we do and they just drop by if they need something. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business. We don’t try to sound bigger than we are. We just stay at E-714 and get through the daily tasks as they come. We have a big box of old cables in the corner that nobody wants to sort through.
