Tej Tent House

Tej Tent House sits on the Bais Godam Main Road in the Nandpuri area. It’s a busy spot with lots of vehicles moving toward the industrial areas and back. We keep all our supplies here, from the big marquee tents to the smaller decorative items like ribbons and table covers. This kind of work depends a lot on the season. During the winter months when there are many weddings, we barely have time to sit down or have a proper meal. We are constantly loading the truck and heading out to different sites across the city. The yard is usually full of laborers moving chairs and cleaning the carpets that come back from events. It’s a gritty business with a lot of dust and heavy lifting. We’ve been at this Nandpuri location for a good while, and most of the locals know where to find us when they have a function coming up. We don’t have a big marketing team or a polished website; we just rely on the fact that we show up and do the job. Sometimes the fabric gets torn or a pole gets bent, and we spend the off-hours fixing everything up for the next client. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we do, and we’ve gotten pretty good at managing the chaos of event setups on the fly without needing anything fancy to show for it.
