Taluka Tent Decorators

Taluka Tent Decorators operates out of S 12 on Sardar Patel Marg in the C Scheme area. This part of town is usually quite busy with traffic. Our shop is mostly a place where we keep the decorative items and the big tent setups. It’s not some polished boutique. You’ll see rolls of colorful cloth and boxes of lights stacked up against the walls. We do a lot of manual work here. One day we are untangling strings of lights and the next we are checking the condition of the wooden stages. Sardar Patel Marg is a central place to be. We handle various setups for whatever is happening in the neighborhood. It’s a messy job sometimes. Fabric gets snags and we have to fix them. The inventory changes depending on what people are asking for lately. C Scheme has its own pace and we just fit into it. We don't spend money on big ads. We just keep our equipment ready. Sometimes the storage room gets so full it is hard to walk through. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at site locations checking how the poles are standing. It is just steady, regular work for us at S 12. Most days involve a lot of sweat and moving heavy things around until they look right for the event.
