Take A Way

We are Take A Way, located on M I Rd, right opposite Laxmi Pump and near Vinus Bakery. If you know this part of town, you know it’s always busy. There is a lot of traffic and people walking by all the time. Our shop is quite small. We don’t have much room for anything other than the kitchen and a small counter. We chose the name Take A Way because that is exactly what people do here. They stop, get their food, and keep going. The kitchen gets very hot, and there’s always the sound of things frying or water boiling. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to serve people who are in a hurry. Being near the Laxmi Pump is helpful because everyone knows where that is. M I Rd is a central place, so we see all kinds of people every day. Some are locals and some are just passing through. We don't have a big marketing budget. We just rely on people seeing us as they walk by or hearing about us from a friend. It’s a fast-paced environment. Sometimes we run out of things or the line gets too long, but we do our best to keep up. It’s a simple operation. We show up, cook, and clean up at the end of the night. That’s all there is. We just keep the stoves running for whoever stops by.
