Surya Tent House

Surya Tent House. We are located at Adarsh Nagar on Agra Road, specifically in Madhav Nagar near Jamdoli A 1. It is a bit of a drive out here but there is plenty of room for our equipment. Most of our time is spent checking the bamboo poles and making sure the waterproof sheets don't have holes in them from last season. The wind can be quite strong around here, so we have to be careful how we stack everything. Usually, it's just a few of us moving things around. The traffic on Agra Road is always a mess, especially with the big trucks moving through. We’ve got a lot of different sizes of tents tucked away in the shed. Sometimes people come by asking for advice on where to put the stage, and we just tell them what we've seen work before. It isn't complicated work but it is tiring. We started out with just a few tables and chairs, and now the place is full of stuff. Jamdoli has changed a lot lately, more houses and less open space. We just stay here and do what needs to be done. If the sun is out, we're usually outside drying out the fabrics. It's just what we do. Nothing more to it than that. We hope the rain stays away when we have a big setup. It’s a hard way to earn but we are used to it now.
