Someday Tent House

At Someday Tent House, we spend most of our time loading and unloading heavy trucks. We are based over on Chamo Road, house number 25, near the Jaipur G P O. It’s a busy part of town with lots of movement. Our work is mostly about physical labor, moving heavy iron poles and folding up large, dusty sheets of fabric. When someone has a function or a small gathering, they come to us for the basic supplies. We have tents, some chairs, and the usual lighting setups that people need. It’s not always pretty behind the scenes. The fabric gets stained from the ground, and sometimes a pole gets bent during transport, but we do our best to set everything up so it stays standing and looks decent. My clothes are usually dusty from the warehouse floor. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. It's just a big open space where we keep all the gear stacked up in piles. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult for us, like when it rains or the wind picks up while we are trying to secure a canopy. We just get on with it though. We've been at this location for a while now, and the neighbors know us by the sound of the trucks in the morning. It's a straightforward business. You need a space covered, and we bring the materials to do it. No big speeches, just manual work.
