Shyam Tent Decorator

Shyam Tent Decorator is right between Narain Singh Circle and Trimurti Circle, at number 6. It’s a very central spot in the city, so there’s always something happening right outside our windows. We can see the traffic moving around the circles all day long. Our shop is where we keep all the decorative items, colorful fabrics, and the metal frames we use. It can be a tight squeeze inside because we have so much stock stored in there. The walls have a few old photos of different setups we’ve done for events over the years. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or meeting with people who drop in to talk about their plans. It’s definitely not a quiet spot due to the main roads, but we like being in the middle of everything. The staff is small, mostly family and a few helpers who’ve been with us for a long time. We have a storage area in the back for the larger items. Sometimes the front of the shop gets a bit cluttered with samples and books. The building is older and has its own quirks, like the front door that always sticks during the monsoon season. We just go about our business day by day. It’s a lot of work to keep track of all the inventory, but we manage it well enough. We usually have a bit of tea when it’s quiet and we talk about the upcoming jobs.
