Shri Vikas Tent & Furniture House

We are located in Malviya Nagar at number 6. Shri Vikas Tent & Furniture House has been a part of this neighborhood for a long time. Our space is usually filled with poles, fabric, and stacks of chairs. It can look a bit cluttered to an outsider, but there is a system to it all. When there's a big event coming up, the place becomes a hive of activity. We’re constantly loading and unloading trucks. The guys are used to the heavy lifting. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on the yard. We don't have a glossy brochure or anything like that. People just know where we are when they need furniture for a gathering. The building itself is quite old and has seen better days, but it serves its purpose. We spend a lot of time out in the field too, setting things up. Back at the office in Malviya Nagar, it’s mostly about keeping track of the inventory and making sure everything is clean and ready for the next use. We’ve seen many weddings and parties come and go. It’s a good feeling to be part of the community’s celebrations. We don’t talk much about "visions" or anything. We just make sure the tents are up and the chairs are straight. That’s what we do, day in and day out.
