Shri Shyam Tent House

You can find Shri Shyam Tent House at Balser More, right on Church Road in Virath Nagar, Navranga Pura. It is a very specific spot that the people around here know quite well. Our building is located close to the main junction, so we get a lot of people passing by on their way to different parts of the city. We have a lot of stuff stored here, ranging from heavy iron frames to big rolls of bright decorative cloth. The workspace feels a bit cramped because we try to fit as much as possible inside to keep it out of the harsh sun. It gets incredibly hot in Virath Nagar during the summer months, so we try to do most of the heavy lifting in the early morning or later in the evening. We do not have a fancy showroom or anything like that for people to visit. It is just a practical place where we keep our gear ready for the next job. One of us is usually sitting near the entrance keeping an eye on the street. We still use a lot of old-fashioned ropes and knots for our tent setups. People from Navranga Pura usually just stop their scooters outside and come inside to talk to us about their plans. We do not have a mission statement or a big philosophy. We just do the work that needs doing and try to keep everything in decent shape.
