If you go near K V No-5 in the Central Market of Mansarover, you’ll likely see our gear. Shri Ram Tent & Light Decorators is basically just a bunch of us who are good with our hands. We spend our days hauling heavy iron poles and untangling long strings of fairy lights. It isn't a glamorous job by any means. You get dusty, you get tired, and you spend a lot of time climbing ladders. Mansarover is a big area, and we’ve set up tents in almost every corner of it by now. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy office. Most of our stuff is stored right there in the market area where we can get to it easily. When someone has a function, we load up the rickshaw or the truck and head out. We try to make sure the lights actually work and the tent doesn't sag, which is harder than it looks when the ground is uneven. We’ve dealt with rain, wind, and everything else that comes with outdoor work. It’s about being practical and getting the job done so the event can happen. We aren't the type to use big words or make grand promises. We just provide the shelter and the brightness for the night. It is a steady life, and we like being the ones behind the scenes making things look decent.
