Shri Raja Supari

We are tucked away at B-43 on M I Road. It is a small shop but we have been here for quite some time. Supari is what we know best. We spend our days cutting, mixing, and bagging different types of supari. M I Road is always buzzing with tourists and locals, but our shop feels like a little piece of the old days. We have glass jars lining the shelves. It’s not a big fancy showroom. We just have a counter and a few stools. Some people have been coming to us for twenty years just to get their specific mix. We don't have a big staff, just me and my nephew usually. We talk to the customers about the weather or the news while we weigh out their orders. The smell of the different spices is very strong in here. Sometimes we run out of a certain type because the supply from the village is late. We don't worry too much about it. It’s a honest living. We see the big shops around us changing their signs and looks, but we stay the same. B-43 is easy to find if you are looking for us. We open at ten and stay until the market closes. It's a simple business but it keeps us busy. We don't have any corporate goals. We just want to sell good supari to people who enjoy it.
