Setting up for events is hard work, and we’ve been doing it from our spot at Galta Road Main Road 12 for years. As Shri Krishna Tent Decorators, we spend a lot of our time out in the sun or loading heavy poles onto trucks. It’s a physical job that leaves you tired at the end of the day. Our shop isn't much to look at, mostly filled with folded fabric, metal frames, and ropes, but it's where everything starts. We don't spend much time sitting around behind a desk. Most days, someone is checking the inventory to make sure the tents are clean and the poles aren't bent. When the wedding season hits, things get really chaotic around here. We’re often up before the sun to get to a site and don’t get back until late at night. The traffic on Galta Road can be a real headache when we're trying to move the big lorries out. We just try to do an honest job so people can have their parties without any trouble. It’s not glamorous work, and my hands are usually calloused, but it's what we do. We've seen a lot of changes in the styles people want over the years. Some want simple things, others want everything bright and colorful. We just pack it up and set it up where they tell us. It keeps the guys busy and pays the bills.
