Shri Krishna Dyeing & Tent Works Factory

Over at G 26 in the Katarpura Industrial Area of Bais Godam, you’ll find our factory. Shri Krishna Dyeing & Tent Works Factory has been around for quite a bit. It’s a big space because making tents takes up a lot of room. You need space to spread out the fabric and cut it. Then there’s the dyeing part, which involves big vats of color. Your clothes usually end up with a few stains by the end of the day, but that’s part of the work. We make tents for all kinds of things—weddings, events, or just for shade. It’s heavy material, and the sewing machines we use are loud and powerful. We aren't a high-fashion place. We focus on making things that are strong and can stand up to the wind and rain. My father started this with just one machine, and we’ve grown slowly over the years. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just dye the fabric, stitch it together, and make sure the poles fit. It’s hard work, especially in the summer when the factory gets really hot, but we get it done. People come to us because they know our tents don't fall apart after one use. We’re just regular people doing a practical job at Bais Godam. We keep the machines oiled and the colors bright, making sure every stitch is where it needs to be.
