Shri Ganesh Pulses

Our business, Shri Ganesh Pulses, is over on Gopalpura Road No. 1-D, at F-771. We spend our days dealing with different types of dal and lentils. When you come by, you’ll see big sacks of pulses stacked up everywhere. There is often a lot of dust in the air from the grains, and the smell of raw lentils is always around. We spend a lot of time cleaning, sorting, and bagging the pulses so they are ready for the shops to sell. It’s repetitive work but it has to be done right so people get good quality for their cooking. We have a few machines that help with the sorting, but it still takes a lot of manual labor to move those heavy bags around the floor. We aren't a big corporation. We are just a small team working in this industrial plot. We’ve been here a while and have seen the road change quite a bit over the years. We supply to local retailers and some smaller wholesalers in the city. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the grain. Sometimes the prices of pulses go up and down like crazy and that makes things stressful, but we just keep going. It’s a simple life focused on a basic food item that everyone needs. We take pride in just doing the job well without making a big fuss or spending on ads. It keeps us moving.
