Shree Ram Tent Decorators

Shree Ram Tent Decorators is based out of Tilak Nagar on Vijay Path, number 14. This place is basically a big warehouse full of pipes, wooden boards, and stacks of fabric in every color you can think of. It’s usually a bit of a mess because we are always loading or unloading something for a function. My father started this business years ago with just a few basic tents, and we’ve just kept it going. It’s hard physical work. We spend a lot of time out in the sun setting things up. When we are back at the office on Vijay Path, we’re usually just resting or checking the equipment for holes. The neighborhood is pretty busy, so parking the trucks is always a headache. We have a small desk tucked in the corner where we keep the bookings. It’s mostly written down in a big diary with a red cover. We don't use fancy software for anything. If you call, you’ll probably hear a lot of banging in the background because someone is always fixing a frame or folding a cloth. We don't have a showroom or anything polished. If you want to see the cloth, we just pull a roll out from the stack. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it has worked for us for a long time. We just try to do a decent job and make sure everything is ready.
