Shah Trading Company

Our place is at 4/4 K.C.C. on Ajmer Road in Herapura. It’s a busy area, especially in the mornings when all the trucks are trying to navigate the turn-offs. Shah Trading Company has been operating from this spot for a long time. The office is a bit small, and we have stacks of ledgers and files reaching almost to the ceiling. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons here, especially when the sun hits the front of the building. We spend most of our time answering the phone and writing out slips for the loaders. It is not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy from nine to six every day. Some of us walk to work from the nearby residential areas, while others have to brave the traffic on Ajmer Road. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we usually take our breaks. You can hear the constant sound of horns and engines from inside the office, but you eventually stop noticing it. We handle a lot of different goods, so the inventory list is always changing. Sometimes we get a shipment that fills up the whole warehouse space, and we have to scramble to get everything organized. It's a bit of a squeeze sometimes. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. People just walk in, find someone at a desk, and ask what they need. It works for us.
