Shadi Decor

Shadi Decor is located right in the middle of New Atish Market at shop number 138. If you’ve ever been to this market, you know it’s a lot of walking and a lot of noise. Our shop is usually packed to the ceiling with fabrics, poles, and lights. It’s hard to move around sometimes when we have a lot of orders coming in at once. We don’t have a fancy showroom with air conditioning; it’s more like a workshop where we get things done. The floor is usually covered in bits of ribbon or thread, and there’s always a faint smell of tea and old fabric. We spend our days loading trucks and checking our inventory to make sure nothing is missing. New Atish Market is a hectic place, especially during the wedding season, and 138 is no different. We’ve got a couple of old fans that try their best to keep the heat away, but it’s mostly just hard work. We don't use any fancy computer systems; most of our notes are on paper scraps or just remembered. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, and we’re often arguing about where we put the gold curtains or the fairy lights. People stop by all day asking for prices or just looking at what’s new. We just keep our heads down and try to get the decor ready for the next big party. It's dusty and crowded, but it's home.
