Karishma Fashions

Karishma Fashions is tucked away in Sugan Vihar, specifically at F-2/14 in Vidhyadhar Nagar. Sector-1 is a pretty decent area, and we’ve been part of it for a bit now. The space is mostly filled with racks and stacks of boxes that we haven't found a permanent home for yet. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get busy. We mostly deal with everyday wear that people need for work or small gatherings. There’s no big sign with flashing lights outside. Just a simple nameplate so people know they’re in the right place. We spend a lot of our mornings just sorting through new stock. It’s hard work and the dust from the clothes makes everyone sneeze. We don't have a website that works properly, so people usually just call or stop by. The staff here are mostly locals from around the Vidhyadhar Nagar area. They know the regulars by name and what they usually like. We aren't trying to change the world of fashion. We just want to make sure the clothes fit right and don't fall apart after the first wash. Sometimes we have a cup of tea with the customers if it’s a slow afternoon. It's a relaxed atmosphere, maybe a bit too relaxed sometimes, but we get the job done. It feels more like a home than an office for most of us.
