Happy Bags

At Happy Bags, we are located at A-24 New Market in Bajaj Nagar. This area has a lot of energy because there are so many students and young people living nearby. Our shop is one of many in this row. It is not very wide, but it goes back quite a bit. We have all sorts of stuff, from gym bags to laptop cases. I spend a lot of my time unpacking new shipments and trying to find space for everything. It’s like a puzzle sometimes. The walls are lined with hooks where we hang the smaller bags. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the name above the door. The New Market area gets really busy in the evenings when everyone is out for a walk or getting some snacks. That’s when we do most of our work. Sometimes a group of students will come in and spend an hour looking at everything before finally picking one bag. I have to be patient with them. The floor is just plain cement and the lighting is okay, nothing special. It’s a practical shop for people who just need something to carry their things in. We’ve been here for a few years and most people in the neighborhood know us by now. It’s a good little spot to be in.
