Purse Corner

If you are walking down Link Road in Bapu Bazar, you will find us at number 18. We call ourselves Purse Corner. It’s a small shop, but we try to make the most of the space we have. Bapu Bazar is a famous place for shopping, and we’ve been part of it for a while now. We mostly have purses and small handbags. The shop is usually full of color because of all the different materials and designs we keep. We don't really do much in the way of marketing. People just see the shop and walk in. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it's quiet to watch the people go by. It’s a good way to pass the time between customers. We have a lot of different styles, some traditional and some more modern. We try to keep things affordable because we know people are looking for a good deal in the bazar. The lights inside are a bit old, but they do the job. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who take turns being at the shop. We’ve had the same neighbors for years, so it feels like a little community on Link Road. We keep a ledger to write down what we sell each day. It’s a very manual process, but it works for us. We just enjoy being part of the daily life here and seeing what the new day brings. It is just a modest little shop.
