Jbg Bags & Company

Our workshop, Jbg Bags & Company, is located at Plot Number 111213 in Bhelgoan. If you’re driving down Kamthi Road, we are right across from the traffic light at Panipech in Tiwari Nagar. It’s a big space where we keep all the fabrics and the sewing machines. We make all sorts of bags here, from simple cloth ones to more heavy-duty stuff for carrying tools or groceries. The floor is usually covered in thread and offcuts of material. It's a busy place with the sound of machines humming all day long. We started small with just two machines and slowly added more over the years. My brother and I manage the daily work, and we have a few local tailors who have been with us for a long time. It gets quite crowded when we have a big order to finish by the weekend. We don’t have a fancy showroom; the office is just a corner of the main floor with a desk and some samples hanging on the wall. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait around, which is frustrating. People from the city come out here because they know where we are located. We just try to make things that last a long time. It’s not glamorous work, but it pays the bills and keeps the staff busy. We don't really do fancy branding, just a simple label on the inside of the bags to show it's ours.
