Rochees Watches Pvt Ltd is right in the middle of Tripolia Bazar at number 22, Shri Ji Ki Mari. If you’ve ever walked through Tripolia Bazar, you know how crowded and lively it is. Our shop is tucked in there among so many others. We spend the day looking at very small things, mostly watch parts and different dials. It’s quiet work compared to the noise of the market outside. The building itself has that old character you only find in these traditional bazars. We have glass cases filled with different styles, and we spend a lot of time just wiping fingerprints off them. People come in and out, some just looking and some wanting a battery changed or a strap fixed. We’ve been at this spot for years, and the routine hasn't changed much. The light inside is a bit dim, but we have lamps for the close-up work. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people walk in at once, but we make it work. Sometimes we stand at the door just to watch the people go by in the bazar. It’s a lot of sitting and focusing on details, which can be tiring for the eyes. We don't have a big fancy showroom, just this honest little space where we deal with timepieces all day long.
