Our place is at E-82 in Govind Puri, Sodala. It’s a simple house that we use for the business. Sodala is a crowded area, so getting the trucks in and out of the narrow lanes can be a real pain. We have to be careful not to hit anyone’s parked scooter. Inside, we have a lot of decorative items like colorful cloths and some lighting fixtures. We spend our mornings checking the inventory. If something is broken, we try to fix it ourselves with some tape or wire. We do local events mostly. It’s not a big operation. We have a few guys who help with the heavy lifting when we have a big job. The sun gets really hot in the afternoons here, so we usually take a long break then. We’ve got a small desk where we keep the ledger. Everything is written down by hand. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. People from the neighborhood often stop by to chat or ask if we’re free for a small function at their home. We know a lot of the families around here. It’s a decent way to earn a living. We don't have any big plans to expand or anything. We just want to keep doing what we’re doing. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the year. Sometimes we just sit outside and watch the neighborhood go by.
