Sahana Industries

Space Cinema is the big landmark for anyone around Bani Park. If you can find the cinema, you can find City Plaza. Sahana Industries is at number 149 inside. The plaza itself has seen better days, and the elevators are a bit moody, so I usually just take the stairs. It’s good exercise anyway. Our space isn't huge, but we make it work with what we have. There are always piles of materials in the corners and the sound of machines or phones going off. It’s a working environment, not a showroom. We don't spend money on fancy rugs or designer chairs. Most of the furniture is stuff we've had since we started. Working in the city center means there's always something happening outside, usually some noise from the traffic or people heading to the movies. We’ve had the same neighbors for a couple of years, and we all pretty much stay out of each other's way unless someone needs to borrow a tool or a bit of tape. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just show up, look at what needs to be finished, and get to it. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, and other days we close up early if things are quiet. It’s just a normal business trying to keep things moving along in Jaipur. We try not to overcomplicate the process of daily work.
