We have been operating out of number 51 on Tonk Road for a good while now. It’s a simple place, mostly used for storing sound equipment and keeping our schedules straight. The walls aren't freshly painted and the floor has a few scuffs from moving heavy speakers around, but it works for us. Tonk Road is a central spot, so it makes sense for us to be here. We spend a lot of time checking cables and making sure the lights are working before we head out to a show. It’s not the kind of office where people sit quietly at computers all day. There is usually some music playing while we test out new gear or fix something that broke at the last gig. We don’t use any fancy management software; we mostly rely on a big whiteboard and a lot of sticky notes. It gets pretty hectic when multiple events are happening at once. We end up drinking a lot of chai and staying late to pack the vans. The neighborhood is always busy, which we like because it feels like there is energy all around us. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We are just a group of people who enjoy putting on a good show and making sure the entertainment side of things runs smoothly without any major hiccups. Every day brings a different set of problems to solve.
